A Few of Our Heritage Sheep Ewes!
These are some of our heritage sheep ewes are relaxing, waiting for spring like the rest of us. From left to right, you see our purebred English Leicester ewe lamb, "Bertha", next is a 50%Rambouliett English Leicester ewe lamb, "Naughty Girl", followed by two purebred English Leicester ewes, "Mahalia and Beatrice". Hiding behind the gate is another 50% Leicester cross, "Sugar".
Right now our Wensleydale ewes and our Black Welsh mountain ewe Tessie are lambing in the barn. You can view these heritage ewes below with their 2008 crop of lambs.
